The Sanctuary Trust which assists homeless people in Rochdale and North Wales asked us to help with their ailing server. With a bit of TLC we managed to keep it running for several days whilst a new server was assembled and configured. Over one (long) working day the old server was removed from service and all data, emails accounts and other services transferred to the new server.

Call on us

Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme which provides temporary supported accommodation to young people who are homeless recently moved offices. When their existing telecoms supplier quoted them over £5,000 and an 8 week delivery time for a phone system they asked us for help. We worked with Zen Internet to arrange for the installation of 4 ISDN2e channels and then installed a factory re-furbished BT Infinity PABX system, all within 15 working days (and less than 50% of the original suppliers cost)!

Ramsbottom Kitchen Company which designs and installs bespoke kitchens was running an old Windows Small Business Server 2003 system and, mindful of the fact that Microsoft’s support for this system ends next year, asked us to replace it with a Windows Small Business Server 2011 system. As Ramsbottom Kitchen Company relies on its computer systems to assist its own customers for 6 days a week, the transfer of data and services to the new server was carried out on a Sunday earlier this month. On Monday morning the staff came in and, except for having to change their passwords, had no downtime or disruption.
